Service Description

Toronto Walks provides guided walking tours, private experiences, and educational activities. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that descriptions, schedules, or availability are error-free.

• Tour durations are approximate and may vary due to weather or city events.
• Group sizes may be capped for safety and quality of experience.
• We may substitute guides or adjust routes when necessary.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the service, including by reselling tickets without authorization, interfering with operations, scraping content, or infringing intellectual property rights.

• No unauthorized recordings of guides’ proprietary content.
• No harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior on tours.
• Follow instructions from guides regarding safety and accessibility.

Bookings, Payments, and Pricing

All prices are shown in CAD unless stated otherwise. Taxes and fees may apply. By confirming a booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method provided.

• Discounts or promotions are time-limited and may be subject to additional terms.
• We may cancel any order suspected of fraud or misuse.
• Receipts and confirmations are sent to the email you provide at checkout.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund unless the tour departs within 48 hours. After this period, refunds are at our discretion, except where required by law.

• Weather-related cancellations initiated by us will be fully refunded or rebooked.
• Late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable.
• Private experiences follow their specific contract terms.

Safety and Accessibility

We prioritize safety and inclusivity. If you require accommodations, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Some routes may include uneven terrain or stairs.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in walking tours involves inherent risks such as slips, trips, weather exposure, and interactions with urban environments. You knowingly accept these risks.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toronto Walks and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

• Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable service during the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or injury caused by gross negligence.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, strikes, public health events, or governmental actions.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials on our website and during tours are owned or licensed by Toronto Walks. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
